Hey guys, I had trouble getting Banner Kings to work and there’s a few outdated guides out there. There’s also a few quirks that less patient people may not figure out when trying to manually install the Banner Kings mod and all it’s other required mods. I have the Elder Kings 2 mod downloaded I’ve tried uninstalling the game and the mod several times tried manually installing it and downloading it from nexus and manually installing and the game just loads up like normal as if there is no mod installed. Not sure if anyone has had this issue before but any help would be greatly appreciated. I use Vortex for all of the mods except BK, BKCE, Ramsay’s Stuff, and Bannerlord Software Extender.

Don’t pretend to be ‘le epic Dunmer slaver guy’ who calls Argonians ‘farm tools’ or whatever, and don’t go around screaming about how awesome Pelinal was because he ‘le genocided le elves’ and other such garbage. It’s just in poor taste and hurts the vibe. Plus if your favorite thing about a series is the racism and genocide, that’s pretty fucked up my dude.

Copy the files from inside the ”Banner Kings Assets” folder into the ”BannerKings” folder. If you have any issues, please respond to this post or contact me directly if this thread is locked. Some of the archives will have the actual mod folder inside a folder named MODULES. Make sure to copy out the folder within that MODULES folder. Some of the mods above say they require Bannerlord Software Extender (BLSE).

While we don’t mind off-topic discussion, if you’re blatantly attempting to advertise a different project, product, or service, you may experience moderation action up to and including banning from the subreddit. Good Tomb Kings mods?
In a previous post I shared my Vanilla+ mod load order to add some flavor to the base game with no crashes. After conquering Calradia, I decided to try Banner Kings + Banner Kings Cultures Expanded. I tried Tomb Kings extended for my Khatep playthrough and found it to be hilariously overpowered – all climates became suitable including the unique ones like magical forest and ocean. This is not the case and does not need to be downloaded. I am loving the tomb kings but find that they need a little more love in the terms of a spellcaster lord and a little more unit variety. The end game all my armies look the same and it gets boring. Submod has a ton of new content such as 9 new playable lore based cultures, new factions, full troop overhaul, 12 different religions to pick from & a map overhaul. Make sure you are using 1.28 version of the base game and most mods. The Banner Kings nexus page has instructions on the dependency mods and their specific versions.
The program WinRAR is required to extract the mod archives. Other programs like 7zip for some reason corrupts the files on extraction. If you ignore this advice and 7zip throws an error after extraction, the mod will simply not work.
